Reference photographed at Escalante Ranch Delta, CO
Quite a year!
Well, this year certainly has not turned out to be what I had expected. I am guessing that many of you feel the same way.
Events that were planned didn't happen or happened virtually. I give everyone kudos for going this route but I can't wait to get back to "normal". Yup! I said it! Normal! Meeting people, watching events in person, attending art openings, etc. We are social beings and need this.
Staying in my studio hour after hour is no big deal. Been doing that for a longlong time. Plus I am lucky enough to live in a place that pretty much went along living and working as usual. It is a ranching/farming community with the most essential of jobs. I was able to photograph brandings through out the summer and weanings this fall. Cowboys training young horses and photographing a gorgeous longhorn herd. I have so much great reference material! Anxious to get painting,
I have to thank my galleries for all the work they have done this past year. It has been great!
This coming year I am going to meet new people, shake hands and make new friends! Join me! Workshops will be in June and September this year! Stay tuned and I will have dates real soon.
